At checkout, there is a Comment box, please give us the model number of your subs and we will build the box as needed. Fits two 8 or 10 inch subwoofers or Fits one 12 inch or two subwoofers. Our ported boxes are designed according to your subwoofers specifications. This design is for maximum airspace and the airspace of the box can be reduced if desired. If tight, punchy bass is what you want then our sealed box will be what you want. A sealed subwoofer box has a tight and punchy bass that is more articulate and more true to the music with a more natural sound. Because of the ported design, the bass will not be as tight and punchy as a sealed box, but there is double the bass of a sealed box with the same subs. Ported subwoofer boxes are for customers who want louder, deeper bass with the lower bass more pronounced. The nickle plated spring loaded speaker terminals are mounted on the back of the box and the speaker wires are soldered on for a solid and reliable connection. This box is made out of 3/4″ MDF and is fully carpeted in matching carpet. A single 8 or 10 inch ported box can also be made. Removal of the jack is necessary for the box to fit.
Mounting depth is 5 1/4″ but with box back extensions or my metal backing plates it can be bumped up to 6” which really opens up some options. 6cuft per side which is perfect for 8” or 10” subs but unfortunately 12” subs will not fit.
